Dr. Mark Taroyan, O.D, F.A.A.O.

I’m Dr. Mark Taroyan, a board certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist in Plano, TX, and I received my Doctorate in Optometry from the College of Optometry at the University of Houston in Texas.

I have been honored by my peers as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), an honor given to those professionals who successfully present a number of significant medical optometric cases to be reviewed by a board of examiners

What sets us apart is our attention to patient care: we believe good vision is essential to conducting daily activities with ease, and our goal is to help our patients achieve optimal visual health. Our office contains state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that allows us to detect problems as early as possible. In order to stay up to date with the latest technologies, we are constantly improving and updating our office to ensure the highest standard of care.

I started my practice in West Plano over 25 years ago and continue to serve the community providing comprehensive eye examinations, eye disease management, emergency care, laser vision management, contact lens services, and consultations. In addition to serving my regular patients, I am actively involved in programs designed to help the less fortunate and often travel to Third World Countries to offer eye care to the poor.

I am proud to have such a friendly, welcome staff; we want you to feel comfortable from the moment you call our practice. We recognize that each and every patient is unique, and I strive to listen to any and all needs you may have. My goal is to provide you with the most personalized care possible; I look forward to seeing you!
